Yay. It's finally finished. After almost two months of seemingly endless work, I'm done with my calendar.



A calendar of digital art featuring the male form in various themes: some humorous, some cool, some classy, all sexy. A Man for Every Season.

The original concept had been 'cheeky' twists to holiday icons, but there's only so many holidays and icons to work with, certainly not a full year's worth. Thus the calendar evolved and for many of the paintings I explored the 'essence' of the month, often still with a bit of 'cheek', or with a touch of class, but hopefully always with a whole lotta sexy. [Nudge nudge, wink wink ]

The guys I tried to give a bit of variety, at least within my general style: cute, handsome, pretty, androgynous. Different variations on sexy: from overt with lots of skin to nearly covered from head to toe.

It was a lot of work putting this together, but it's left me with a strong sense of satisfaction. I had 9 paintings to complete from start to finish and accomplished it in less than two months. With my tendancy to dwell in the details, it wasn't easy, but I did it. It may have taken weeks of late nights and being the hermitiest hermit that ever hermitted, but I'm rather happy with the results.
